Are you an experienced bilingual educator looking for the opportunity to deepen your impact and reach even more urban children? Do you have a passion for using engaging arts-based teaching methods with students and want to coach other to use them too? Then this is the job is for you. Reading In Motion, a nationally recognized non-profit organization, is seeking to expand our team of reading coaches.
Reading In Motion develops and implements arts-based reading programs that get results. What children know is that their teacher is letting them sing catchy songs, act out engaging stories, and work in small groups. But eight rigorous studies have demonstrated they are also doing something more - becoming successful readers. Three academic journals and Harvard researches have published our results.
As a Reading In Motion coach, you’ll provide professional development for teachers and on-site support as they implement Reading In Motion in their classrooms in Spanish and English.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with years of experience teaching children and coaching adults in early childhood education, preferably kindergarten and first grade reading.
Masters Degree preferred.
Fluent Spanish Skills required.
